Note
that there is no magic age when children without the infant
leash are ready to learn to go to the bathroom by themselves. Most of
them have developed physical and cognitive skills needed between 18 and 24
months (although there are children who are not ready until almost 3 years old,
or even 4). Use our guide to help you know if it's time to start teaching your
child go to the bathroom alone. Once you've started, and you do not get good
results after several weeks, which mean that your son actually was not ready.
Wait a few weeks?? Or until identify signals that it is ready?? And try again.
Before
you even go out and buy the potty or penguin
toilet baby urinal, it is good to think and plan on how you want to
conduct the training. Decide when and how you want to start, what to do when
your child has "accidents" and how will you know whether it is better
to leave for the moment and try again later. But while it is good to plan, it
is also important to remember that you have to be flexible. There is no way of
knowing in advance how your child will do, or what techniques will work best.
Note that, as with most important stages in the development of children,
success usually does not occur linearly, ie, in steady march towards a goal.
Your child may start very well, and then go back at one stage or another of
learning with all those baby
accessories.
Although
parents we love our children learn to go to the bathroom by themselves as
quickly as possible. There are a number of steps for removal of the diaper your
child will have to overcome, and this is something that can take some time. It
is true that some children learn in a few days, but for others the training
lasts several weeks, or even months, especially until they can now sleep
through the night without diapers. Do not try to rush your child (or let others
do) to drop faster than it can diapers. Let him do it at your own pace and
gradually get used to this new and complicated process, and see that progresses
from one stage to the next course. Try to motivate lovingly, reminding you use
the potty or toilet (you can use special seats that are placed over the
toilet), reading stories and flattering him or reward him when he does well.
But if your son or retracts back, do not push too.
